ABOUT MASON TECHNOLOGIES
Built from the ground up
Founded in New York in 2002 by Jennifer Mason, Mason Technologies was built with a different perspective from the start. Before entering the technology industry, Jennifer worked as a charge nurse, where attention to detail, accountability, and care weren’t simply expectations—they were essential. She carried those same principles into Mason Technologies, building a company grounded in integrity, craftsmanship, and a genuine commitment to the people behind every project.
Today, Mason Technologies is a national technology solutions provider specializing in structured cabling, audio visual, security, data centers, integrated technology solutions... and more. From initial design and installation to ongoing service and support, we partner with organizations to create the infrastructure that keeps their people connected, their operations protected, and their businesses moving forward.
Our technology can be found behind the space where people work, learn, heal, collaborate, and connect. And while our capabilities have grown significantly since 2002, our approach remains personal: understand what our clients need, do the work exceptionally well, and be there long after the installation is complete.

The Mason Story
2002
MASON FOUNDED
Jennifer Mason founded Mason Technologies and worked out of her home, laying the foundation for future growth.
2003
MASON MOVES TO A NEW LOCATION
Mason relocated its headquarters to 33 Ranick Road in Hauppauge, NY, providing additional space to support the company's continued growth.
2004
ADAM JOINS MASON
Adam joins Mason's Business Development team alongside Jen, strengthening a department poised for significant growth.
2010
MASON SIGNS HRA CONTRACT
As the largest local social services agency in the country, New York City’s Human Resources Administration (HRA) helps more than three million New Yorkers annually through the administration of more than 15 major public assistance programs. This contract opened the doors for Mason to support critical public-sector work across New York City.
2012
MOVE INTO OUR DEER PARK OFFICE
Mason opened its Deer Park office, creating a new home for a growing workforce of approximately 40 employees.
APPLIED SOUND JOINS THE MASON FAMILY
Mason welcomes Applied Sound Corp., established in 1984, into the Mason family, bringing decades of expertise in audio visual, audio reinforcement, security, and overhead paging solutions.
MASON STEPS UP DURING HURRICANE SANDY
During Hurricane Sandy, Mason did whatever was needed to support its employees and community families, regardless of the financial impact. The company deployed two full-time vehicles to transport fuel from gas stations to employees’ homes and opened the office to provide access to showers and restrooms.
2019
AWARDED NYC OTI CONTRACT
Secured an 11-year contract with New York City's Office of Technology & Innovation (OTI) to deliver structured cabling, data center infrastructure, access control, and power distribution solutions supporting critical city operations.
SUPPORTING HOSPITALS THROUGH THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
While supporting local hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic, 57 Mason technicians contracted the virus. After recovering, they returned to the field to continue serving critical healthcare facilities when support was needed most.
2021
MASON WELCOMES G-SYSTEMS TO THE FAMILY
The addition of G-Systems, a respected New York City telecommunications and cabling contractor founded in 1981, strengthened Mason's workforce with seasoned industry professionals, bringing the average technician age to 42.
2023
GROWING OUR WORKFORCE
Following the pandemic, Mason expanded its workforce to more than 200 W-2 CWA technicians and opened a new 3,000-square-foot office at 77 Water Street in NYC. At the time, the average technician age was just 39, reflecting a dynamic blend of experience, skill, and emerging talent.
2024
OTI CONTRACT RENEWAL
Mason renewed its OTI contract, which later became known as the DOITT contract, extending our partnership with New York City.
2025
GROWING OUR REGIONAL FOOTPRINT
Mason expanded its Southeast operations across North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Texas, strengthening our ability to serve clients throughout the region.
A LARGER HOME IN NYC
Mason relocated to a larger 6,100-square-foot NYC office at 39 Broadway, featuring a 700-square-foot balcony overlooking the Hudson River, reinforcing our long-standing presence and continued growth in the New York market.
2026
OTI/DOITT CONTRACT EXTENDED
Mason secured a 2-year extension of the OTI/DOITT contract, continuing a trusted partnership with New York City.
NEW HEADQUARTERS GROUND BREAKING
Mason breaks ground on May 12, 2026 at its new 69,000-square-foot headquarters in the Hauppauge Industrial Park. Opening in Summer 2027, the facility will feature 42 feet to steel, increasing storage capacity, operational efficiency, and room for future growth.
